"David get up. We are already late," I pouted trying harder to pull him up from the couch.

"Is there no way I can change your mind?"

He insisted to be settled on the chair, pretending to be interested in the series playing on the television.

"We promised to go," I argued with him.

"I know. But I've been to the party before and it never ends well," he looked at me for a moment but then turned back to the television.

"Fine then, I'll drive myself there," I finalized.

"You don't know the place," he gave me a smirk that did nothing to sooth me.

"I'll use GPS. Or call Becca," I retorted with a hurl.

"You don't have her number and I will not allow you get lost under my care," David rolled his eyes, making me narrow mine.

"You are the most annoying person ever," I gave up, falling carelessly on the chair and slouching lower on it.
