I breathe in the fresh air and smile.

I came outside for a walk after waking up from a nightmare. Everything that happened yesterday kept playing like a record on repeat inside my head.

I didn’t wake up screaming or anything, but I was shaking. I couldn’t fall back to sleep, and Leander was snoring softly. So, I left him in bed and came out for a while.

I figured I could clear my head, and maybe that would sort me out.

The trouble is that I don’t know if I’ll ever forget what Chan did to me. I know that he’s dead, but I would have liked to talk to him and find out the truth for myself.

Yanlin is locked up, but I’m still a little worried that she’ll somehow get out. I’m not scared of the woman, but it does bother me that she’s so obsessed with Leand
