I can feel my heart beating faster. I feel like I am in the middle of the marathon, running on my own while processing the words he said.

I heard him sigh and shook his head a little. I watched him as his eyes look above from the moon. I can clearly see his perfectly angled jaw now. He looks perfect.

“Forget it…” he shook his head and saw the glimpse of disappointment in his eyes. Something in my heart cracked as he walked inside of their gate without even looking at me. My lips parted and was about to call him, but I remember what I did today.

If Carlos and Herman found out that I am still close with Ronald or the others they might get suspicious to me. They’ll get in danger, and I don’t want it. I want them safe as much as possible. I already started it and I also have to dealt with it in the right way.
