Chapter 21
Alanis POV
Alpha Sebastian does not take his hand out of mine the entire trip home. He frequently kisses the top of my hand. I am anxious to be home with him, to start our life. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around Julian's betrayal. There are so many unanswered questions, but some things are better left unbothered and unanswered.
Alpha Sebastian parks the truck in the drive and comes around to open my door. When I step out of the truck, he picks me up in his arms and kisses me. "I think it is time for us to be alone," he says.
No guards, no interruptions, just alone time with my Alpha and me. He carried me into our home and straight back to our bedroom. I have no idea how he healed or why all of this happened; again, some things are better left alone.
