Chapter 33

About fifteen minutes after witnessing the chaos in the coffee room, I was sitting at my desk, with an employee of mine named Ralp David sitting in front of me. His face was smeared with some blood and a whole lot of guilt.

Outside my office, Stav was waiting for his turn while his girlfriend, Sunshine, nursed his injuries.

As far as my mood was concerned, I was enraged. Never in the past four years had I witnessed a physical fight in my office. It was out of line and needed to be addressed properly otherwise it wouldn't be good for my reputation.

With that thought in mind, I shut the file in my hand and focused all my attention on the bearded man sitting in front of me. "Care to explain?"

"We were talking casually and he started punching me out of nowhere, Miss Montelebalo," he responded.

"Stop lying, Mr. David. It won't get you anywhere. Why did my assistant punch you?" I asked, using my deadliest glare.

"I. . ."

"Don't bother lying
