Chapter 34

After procrastinating for not one, not two, but whole three hours after waking up, I finally left my mobile and hopped out of my bed. After brushing my teeth, I made my way out of my room to the lounge where Isaiah was busy doing some work.

"It's 4pm. Did you just wake up?" he asked. "Don't you have any work to do?"

"You're forgetting, I'm suspended for a week," I said and yawned loudly, stretching my limbs.

"What's this smell?" Isaiah contorted his nose and tried to identify the source of whatever smell that disturbed him. At the end, his eyes landed on me. "When did you shower last?"

"The day I went to office, maybe?" Shrugging, I picked up the bowl of dry fruits from in front of him and put a handful in my mouth.

"That was four days ago," he said in a disgusted voice.
