Chapter 35
Stav and I, we both were sitting across each other in one of the nicest restaurants of the city, waiting for Antonio Guerrero to arrive. It was Stav's first day back to office after his suspension and on his first day, I received the news that we were being sued for fraud by a local company we had a contract with. Right now, we were waiting to meet a lawyer that Patty had suggested to deal with this issue.
"Why couldn't we meet him in the office?" Stav asked impatiently.
"Because apparently, he is a very successful lawyer. We have to impress him if we want him to take our case. That explains the dinner," I said.
He leaned back in his seat and ran his fingers through his messy hair. His stubble had grown a bit, giving him a more rugged look. The suit that he was wearing hugged him perfectly, bringing attention to his muscular arms and wide shoulders.
