Falling

Waiting for the burning sensation of his teeth sinking inside my flesh, I kept my eyes closed.

After very long seconds which felt like hours, I opened my eyes as the pain I was preparing myself for never came.

The sun was almost dipped behind the canopy of trees, which was now more clear. The faint light was coming towards my way but it was getting blocked by the masculine figure standing in front of me. 

I ran my eyes around the whole scene, I was near the exit but never noticed it because of my fear. 

The brown wolf was on the ground a few feet away with his fur covered in blood around the neck.

I turned my gaze away from him quickly as I was almost sure he was dead from the amount of blood that was soaking the grass beneath him.

I tried to look at the man standing in front of me like a statue without moving at all.

The faint smell of familiar cologne entered my nostrils and I was instantly aware of the identit
