Damien was standing still near the door, with hands in the pocket of his dark pants.
I did not say anything and watched the girl place the plate of food on the table one more time.
"I said I am not hungry."
Just then the loud growl from my stomach pierced through the silence of the room.
Damien arched an eyebrow barely containing his laughter, "Sure."
The girl stood next to the table with her head down.
"You can leave," Damien announced in a stern voice without looking at her.
The girl left the room without saying another word or glancing in my direction.
Damien pushed the chair for me to sit but I did not move from my place.
"I am not eating anything until you give me answers," I folded my arms.
"We can talk after you eat something."
"Where am I? Does my family know about my whereabouts? How did that man turn into an animal and how did you kill it so easily?"
