Keep your filthy hands away

The reminder of the memory that I was trying so hard to forget was staring at me through the mirror.

I ran my fingers on the bruise softly. The image played in my head one more time which I shook off and dabbed a thick layer of concealer on my neck aggressively. 

The feeling of betrayal was too much for me to leave the room and had dinner while staring at the face of that smirking devil.

Ruhee put the dinner on the table when I was taking a shower. She respected my decision of not talking to her and I was glad about it.

Breakfast was the same story as well. But staying inside the room was driving me insane. 

For the first time, I was alone without Ruhee following me like a shadow. I had a feeling the security was increased after my failed attempt to escape.

I was too engrossed in looking at the paintings in the hallway that I didn't notice Amber until I bumped into her.
