Wolf-less

The dead silence confirmed my theory. 

Damien was standing near his desk with his back facing me. 

I held my breath as I waited for him to say anything, without moving from the couch, "It is true," I whispered but the words were not meant for him

The words were meant for me to realize the reality, how my life had turned upside down. 

"Get out," he said in a slow tone that caused me to shiver.

I stood up from my position but did not leave the room instead I tried to poke the wolf, "Damien..."

"I said GET OUT!" he growled.

Startled by the loud voice I ran outside without blinking.
