"He said what?!"
Silver paused the movie and turned to give his whole attention to me.
I gave him an awkward smile, the one in which I tried to smile but it ended up looking like an uncomfortable excuse for a smile.
"You don't understand," he paused, "Damien never apologizes. All these years I have been through so much trouble because of him but not even once has that man apologized."
I shared everything with Silver. It was because of his motivation I confronted Damien, which did not turn out amazing but at least I was no longer throwing darts in the dark.
"One sorry does not change anything."
"If he is wrong you are not right either," Silver arched his perfectly shaped eyebrows.
"Of course you are going to take your friend's side," I scoffed and sat more comfortably on my soft seat.
"It is not about taking sides. I am not saying he is infallible, he has made some questionable decisions but you have to try to know

I wiped my hands on the jeans as I looked at the intimidating building in front of my eyes.I thought Damien's mansion was big but the palace was making it look ordinary.So many symmetrically arranged large dark windows on the tall grey walls of stones were staring at me making me feel minuscule. My room was no different from the pristine palace, it had a huge bed in the middle, the same walls reminding me of winters with golden designs around the borders.
