Dominic shrugged, “Maybe Trecdor had it cleaned before his arrival. He must have planned to stay but you know he wouldn't have stayed anywhere near you, even if the law required the archon to keep the Coven head as her guest.”

“The law…again…grrr”

The thought had never crossed her mind that Trecdor would have done something like this. The Round Hall looked like the colosseum, ancient and broken, but everybody liked it this way.

It would keep any humans that stray into the forest from finding about the existence of such a massive structure that was hard to miss. Occasionally, some enthusiastic humans would travel through the jungle in search of some adventure and stumble upon the round hall.
