Prologue

The sky was clear and blue as if joining the festivities that would happen later this morning.

After a long time of fighting, we were finally here. Marco was finally getting the crown he deserved.

Tama. I should be rest assured. Everything was according to plan. I had already placed the path of the chess pieces meticulously, so all they had to do was to take the step I laid out for them.

Breathing deeply, naupo ako sa harap ng study table then grabbed the nearest book to read.

I was surprised sa nabasa ko and looked at the title of the book. Ancient Oriental's Philosophies.

Napatawa na lang ako sa sarili ko. I should do some clean up on my bookshelves and make sure that all the books there were worth my time reading.

I placed the book back on the table at the same time, someone knocked on the door. 

A familiar face appeared as it opened.

"Samantha, it's time."

We smiled at each other before I joined him walked out of the room.
