My father's son

The look on my face substantiated that I was trying to comprehend everything being said to me. Hence I took my head up to speak, rather he let out before I could.

"You're the supposed dead son to master Leonardo".

( thunderstorm goes off)

I recalled his words again, and he tells on his exact words to me, immediately I jerked up from the chair in a furious manner.

" what're you doing please sit and know the left truth". ( Adamson asked for my inclusive attention)

So, I sat back down and he proceeds discussing again.

"Master Chris, I know you must've been shocked after hearing the truth and I don't blame you, but please, it's isn't a joke, you're a woods blood, and I got to know about your existence at master Leonardo's press conference, his oblivious to the fact that the boy he adopted is his son, his very own blood".

" how!!! Please tell me how you found out?". 

( I got a question out to the open, Adamson takes a time off and tell on the left truth to know, he says and I quote) "I know because, I was the person Mrs jane instructed to steal and kill you after you were born".

Apparently today sought out a shocking revelation to me, I eventually got a chance to speak"

So I said, "Mr. Adamson, are you telling me that,  I was stolen at birth my Mrs jane, the biological son to master Leonardo woods,  and the woman I've seen as my mom, isn't mine?".

(Adamson gets his head shaking, corroborating my words one after the other).

Apparently I don't know if I should dance, scream out loud, because destiny didn't just bring me to a new city but also sent me to my father, Master Leonardo woods.

The same day that happened, I went home and straight to the room, luckily mom was in, which gives me the opportunity to ask her the pending question in my psyche.

"Oh, welcome baby?".

Mom said seeing me standing at the doors opening.

I took a week smile at her and walked in..

" mom, can I please ask you a question?".

The look on my face wasn't pleasing at all, and that gets her a lot caution to know why.

"Yes baby, what's going on?".

She gave me her listening ears, I got a few close gazing into her eyes and said.

"Tell me the truth, are you really my mom?".

" excuse me?".

Mom takes an offense to my question, she tired to slap me but gets her hand pinned mid air by me.

"Don't you dare mom, and please tell me the truth!!".

I got a lot defensive with her, she let's go and revamped a step back.

Her look gave me the sense that there was something erroneous or perhaps is what Mr. Adamson said true.

Mom sat me down on the bed, she turns her back trying to get her words out.

" I...i..." She stuttered.

"You what mom, please I'm begging you to tell me the truth ".

Once again I pleaded with her, this it seemed to have  gotten to her and she beers her eyes to mine, finally begin able to enunciate.

Mom says donning a sad face, " Chris, I'm not your biological mother, years back a man gave you to me, to  keep and payed me to leave far away from the city"

I got to a point and implored, "tell me mom,  what was his name, was it perhaps Mr. Adamson that gave me to you?".

She shook her head in accordance to my question, her affirming the same truth to me almost got me slipping into a state of shock, thus if that wasn't enough drama, Keith voice gained our attention.

Mom and I ran downstairs, discovering master Leonardo laying unconscious to the floor.

" dad?". I yelled and rushed to his aid.

Mrs Jane walks in with the doctor and he was taken up to his room.

We waited for the doctors results and thereafter, he turns and said.

"No need to worry, his okay but we've got to keep master Leonardo away from any stress related matters or else he might go into coma".

Mrs. Jane thanked the doctor and left with him, Keith also left after a call came to his phone and so did mom, she left to the kitchen leaving just the two of us at the room.

I sat with my head down, I had no idea that master Leonardo has regained consciousness, he says getting my head up.

" you seems sad lad?".

( weak smiles)

"Dad, you're awake?". ( I couldn't stop my emotions from showing)

" yes Chris, and it seems you're the only one concerned about me?". ( master Leonardo adds up showing a dreadful face)

Immediately the doctors statement rang in my ears, I shouldn't let my dad feel sad today being his birthday, I'll have to do something.

"Dad, do you remember that, today is your birthday and this evening there is going to be a party!!".

( I watched off the dreadful face into an optimistic smile)

" yes son, I do know that?"

( said master Leonardo)

"So dad, I need you to rest and when its time for the party, I have a huge surprise for you"

( my utterances got him asking) "what  surprise son".

" you'll see dad" I smiled and left him thinking what my surprise would be.
