Chapter 2: The Homecoming Party

The wild night came and the servants from the mansion had never been this busy. Orders and demands here, there, and everywhere. Even Sam and Laila were getting dizzy obeying the demands of these young billionaires.

Who were they?

Sitting on the marbled stairs of the pool was Albert's bestfriend since his primary days. His name was Edward Carter or CEO Eddie Carter for his employees and the media. He was the CEO of their three decades of international commerce the Carter Homes Inc. They developed condominiums and hotels in this country and overseas. He was as tall as Albert, good-looking, and a real player. He was actually hanging his gorgeous arms to the shoulders of two famous models at the moment.

Not far from him was another young master from a noble clan. But this one was a little tamer. At least he stuck to one woman at a time principle. But he also changed girlfriends like he was just changing his outfits from his wide built-in closet.

How did people know he had that?

It was all over social media. Chester Collins, the CEO of the well-known department stores all over the US, the Cols Shopping Malls. He was also gorgeous and to top that, he always had one rule for all of his girlfriends- 24 hours shopping spree for any of the malls they had before you give your final sway and wave bye-bye!

Yes! That was his outrageous but already the most generous rule in breakups!

At least he never left his girlfriend crying in the rain or screaming his name chasing after him after an undone last supper.

Unlike Albert! He was cruel. The last time, the netizens saw him on the news he dumped his lingerie model girlfriend for six months on the road. The woman made a live broadcast on social media forgetting about how important she looked.

Disheveled hair, heavy sobs, swollen eyes, makeup running down her cheeks, snot coming out of her nose, and she was also gasping for air.

She was trying to get the pity of the viewers.

"To you Albert, whom I have loved with all my heart and soul. Is this how you repay my kindness? After everything I have done for you, this is what I have got being dumped alone in the street of... of... I don't even know what place is this!" she uttered as she looked around.

And the sobs and sniffs continued. Almost all of the viewers felt her situation. They bombarded Albert's media accounts with cursed comments and they even made memes and gifs of his gorgeous face. Staining his name and his company everywhere.

The entertainment media chased him before and after his work schedules till he had enough and put all his 'fans' in their places.

He dumped the model after she was caught redhanded having intercourse with her fellow model at a hotel his friend Eddie owned.

It was actually him, who called Albert when he saw the model going to a VIP room with another man.

After that incident which happened just a month ago, the media remained quiet. They left Albert in peace. He, on the other hand, never dated any woman after. Not until tonight.

As Sam brought them their orders of Margarita with a slice of lime on its glass rims, her light brown orbs caught him kissing a woman at the jacuzzi at the corner just by the pool.

The pool lights were dim. These billionaires made it that way so they could do whatever they wanted. Mrs. Lauren Michaels left the mansion after they talked. She went to visit her daughter, Albert's stepsister Liz Roberts.

Sam's heart throbbed really fast and loud like a drum. They had been kissing long and passionately and it was piercing her heart to pieces. Out of extreme jealousy, she intentionally splashed the steaming water from the jacuzzi on them. This made Albert stop and turn around.

"What the~" when he saw who barged into his private time, he got out of the jacuzzi and grabbed Samantha's hand tight.

"Sir, the ladies' Margarita. I just brought them here!" Sam uttered bowing her head.

At that moment some tears left her eyes and she didn't want him to see them.

"Put the drinks on the table and get out of here!" he roared which made her startled.

"Albert, honey! She is just a maid. Come on, let's continue what we're doing!" the flirt uttered.

Sam lifted her head and managed to take a glance at her. D*rn, she knew the woman. That was the only daughter of a famous business tycoon, Lance Swan. Her name was Madeline and she was a h*ck of a gorgeous lady.

Even Samantha adored her looks. She felt defeated. If this was Albert's new girl, then she was really nothing compared to her. Long blonde hair. Blue eyes. Pouted plum lips. Sharp pointed nose. Figure as beautiful as a lingerie model.

Plus, graduated Magna cum luade in one of the prestigious universities in the USA.

"What are you waiting for? Leave!" Albert exclaimed as he pointed his index finger at the door.

"Yes, Young Master!" she scooted right away.

Albert shook his head out of annoyance. When he went back to the jacuzzi pool, he had no more appetite to continue what they had been doing.

He took the margarita and gave it to Madeline. She leaned her back on his broad chest as she sipped her drinks.

"That servant looks young. How old is she?" she suddenly asked.

"Eighteen. Her father is dad's driver and her mom is our lady butler!" he nonchalantly asked.

"So, your family is the one financing her education, or she doesn't go to school?"

"She goes to school but she is a scholar and she gets an allowance from the government!" Albert replied as he spread his arms on the edge of the tiles.

"Really?" Madeline felt somewhat challenged for no reason. When Samantha stared at her, she saw her watery eyes. She could notice that those were tears and not plain splashes from the steaming water.

"She has a crush on her master? She must be dreaming!" she uttered inwardly with annoyance.

On the other hand, Albert had no idea where those hatreds came from but every time he saw Sam, his blood was boiling really hot. He liked to vent his anger on her.

When did that start?

He still could remember the first time he vented his anger for no reason and it made her really cry a lot. She was just ten at that time and he was twelve.

"You're not riding with me in my car!" sluggishly sitting on the backrest of the backseat, he squinted his eyes on the shy, innocent, looking down girl that was sitting on the passenger seat who's hugging her two thick books over her chest that was covered by a light pink one-piece dress that was just below her knee with buttons in the middle and a ribbon-like collar neckline.

"Young Master, Samantha has been waiting for you in the car. If she won't go to school with us, she will be late!" Andy, their driver and Jaden's father explained as he stared at the rearview mirror.

"I don't care if she'll be late. Go bring her to the bus stop and leave her there!" he roared.

"Young Master!" Andy exclaimed in disbelief.

"It's okay, Uncle Andy. I will take the bus going to school from now on!" Samantha bitterly smiled as she glanced at him.

"What are you two waiting for? Drive!" he even commanded.

Andy drew Albert a sharp stare when he was not looking. He stopped at the nearest bus station and Samantha carried her feet that were covered with simple white sneakers and stepped off the car. Her long silky black hair flew along with the wind forming a wave shape when Albert's Mercedes-Benz sped off. She stared at the car disappearing on the horizon before she sat on the bench at the bus stop.

She was a new student at Georgetown International School. Albert's dad encouraged her to try taking the entrance test and she passed. Not just that, she became a scholar in an instant. She became Albert's schoolmate since then.

As a result of taking the bus, she was late on her first day. The school was strict and there was no room for consideration when it came to punishment. Samantha was told to help the servers in the canteen at lunchtime as her penance.

When Albert saw her serving food in the canteen, he already had an idea that she was indeed late. A little guilt pierced his heart especially when some of the so-called spoiled brat children queueing in line started bullying her.

"Hey, you hurry up!" Vanessa frowned at her baffled back and forth movement.

"Gosh, I can't believe Albert's servant studies here!" Sylvia shook her head.

"Got a problem here?" Albert uttered behind them which made Sam drop the big spoon on the tray of one of their meals.

"Albert, look! She's making the food dirty!" Vanessa who had a crush on him turned around and whined in front of him.

When he stared at Sam who couldn't look him in the eye, he tapped the glass shelf that was covering the meals.

"Hurry up!" he gently uttered.

Sam was stunned by his kind gesture that was totally different from that morning that she lifted her head and smiled. She quickly moved and served each of the students their meal.

He was still in deep thoughts recalling the past when he felt Madeline's hand inside of his trunk.

"Not here, okay? Eddie and Chester are present!" he whispered to her hair.

"Hmm! Okay!" Madeline left a flirting moan as she slowly leaned back on her broad chest.

Albert drank the last liquid of brandy in his glass as he lifted his head. He couldn't forget how Samantha experienced daily bullying in their school before. He continued recalling each episode of their past.
