Chapter 13 - Carrot Cake
WEVZ IS CURRENTLY staring at the twins while they are sleeping. It fascinates her just watching them. Syke is also still sleeping.
Something touches her heart because of what she is seeing right now. Still, she can’t explain why there was this longingness in her heart. When she felt her eyes suddenly become hot and her vision became clouded, she blinked many times to prevent her tears.
She decided to go down to the kitchen and bake a carrot cake. She left a note for Syke to call her just in case he will be needing assistance once he woke up. She also told him that she is just in the kitchen.
She saw Aling Bebeng and Manang Fe in the kitchen. It seems that they are already preparing breakfast.
“Good morning!” Wevz greeted them happily.
