25 Emotional Wreck

The upside-down Audi smashed against the pavement in front of an oncoming garbage truck. KK turned his head, looking across the passenger seat, in time to see the smoke from the brakes of the truck as it attempted to stop before striking him. He braced for impact, not feeling the injuries he had already suffered. 

The truck managed to stop enough, barely tapping the side of the crushed Audi and spinning it around in the center of the roadway. KK vomited from the dizzying sensation and the pain he was beginning to feel. As he hung upside down in the car, it came to a stop on its roof.

He chuckled to himself as the first thing he thought of was Leo. It was a shame he would never get to see him again. He thought of Leo's scent and closed his eyes as the pain began to overtake his thoughts of the man he could have fallen in love with.
