Kiara:
“So, do you want to tell me where you’re taking me?” I asked Alessio raising an eyebrow at him. He smirked and wrapped his arm around me. The two of us were inside the car while Lyov drove us off to wherever Alessio has decided to want to take me.
“Well, I would; but it wouldn’t be a surprise if I did, now would it?” Alessio asked in a teasing tone which made me smile. Shaking my head to answer Alessio, I laid my head over his beating heart. To say that I was lucky would be an understatement. Knowing that he trusted me with something that was as valuable as the pendant that I was wearing, something that belonged to his mum, it made me feel special. I didn’t know how to describe what I was feeling, but I was grateful that he had let his walls down.
Lyov came to a stop in front of a restaurant which made me look up at Alessio who ran his finger over my arm. He was looking out the window, clearly focused on us arrivi
Alessio:The alarm’s ringing woke me up. Knowing that last night was a long one, I had to resolve to putting an alarm as not to wake up at noon.I extended my arm to turn it off only to smile at the sleeping woman who was laying her head on my chest, just over my beating heart.I ran my fingers through her messed up curls, twirling my finger in a strand, and softly untangling her hair as I went on. She didn’t stir for a second, and I knew that it wasn’t just the alcohol’s effect. She felt safe, she knew that I wouldn’t harm her, she trusted me, and that was something that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Never in my life did I think that a woman trusting me was going to bring me such comfort, just remembering how she had trusted me with opening up to me, knowing that I could easily crush her but trusting that I wouldn’t hurt a hair on her if I could prevent it; it was something that brought me contentment.&
Kiara:I woke up with a headache that could match a migraine.I massaged my temple and sat up to check my phone, my eyes widened when I saw that it was a while past noon. I forced myself out of the bed and walked out of the bedroom to find the suite oddly quiet. I frowned in confusion when I saw Alessio sitting on the couch, his arm spread on the couch’s backrest, a drink in his hand.“Alessio?” I asked frowning in confusion. He didn’t even turn to face me as he hummed in response “is everything alright?”“Yes, why?” Alessio asked. His voice cold and void of emotion, it reminded me of when I first came to the house and he was doing his best to annoy his father.“Did something happen? You told me that you would wake me up in an hour, but...”“I didn’t think that it was important to wake you. You needed to sleep” Alessio said and I frowned. I walked toward him and sa
Alessio:It was hours before we heard the baby’s cry. We have been standing in front of the door waiting for the baby’s voice before we walked out. Natasha had stopped yelling eventually. But we were yet to hear anything else. Our eyes widened and Ivan rushed inside the bathroom, all of us following behind to find Kiara’s shirt filled with blood as she handed Natasha her baby. Both women smiled at one another before Kiara squeezed Natasha’s shoulder.Ivan walked toward Natasha who smiled at him. He kissed her forehead before he looked at his newborn child. A smile growing on his face as he caught sight of the little creature. I couldn’t help but smile at the sight. Kiara’s smile soon faded when she looked at me and she lowered her gaze to the ground as she attempted to walk toward the door.“Kiara?” Natasha’s call stopped her. Kiara turned to face Natasha who held her baby with one arm, extending her l
Kiara:I left the Estate not stopping for anyone who questioned where I was going. The fact that Alessio was following me wasn’t something that I missed. But I didn’t want to speak to him, and therefore, I didn’t bother stopping no matter how many times he called me.Well, that was until he wrapped his arms around my waist and forced me to stop just a few blocks away from the house. His eyes met mine and I could swear that I saw regret in them, something which I have never seen in his eyes. However, what was happening was his fault, I didn’t just go on ahead leaving because I wanted to. They had accused me of something which I wouldn’t do, something that I wouldn’t have think of doing.“Let me go, Alessio” I snapped and he glared at me. His eyes studying my expression before he lifted me over his shoulder “ALESSIO!”“Yes, Kiara?”“PUT ME DOWN!” I yelled hitti
Alessio:I ran my finger over Kiara’s arm as she laid on my chest trying to keep herself awake.“You know, you’re making it a lot harder for me to stay awake, Alessio” she commented. I chuckled tightening my arms around her and pulling her closer to me, softly kissing her temple.“I never said that you couldn’t sleep though” I said gently and Kiara raised herself on my chest. She looked me in the eye and I ran my finger over her jawline, softly resting it on her chin making her smile.“Yes, you didn’t, but we need to go and see how Natasha is at the hospital. She just gave birth, and need I remind you that it wasn’t easy or normal” Kiara reminded and I nodded. She was right, I had kept my phone on loud in case anyone called for any issues, thankfully no one did. But we still needed to go and see how things were going, how Natasha and her baby were, and what the next procedures would go.
Kiara:It’s been two weeks since Tatia was born. Two short and long weeks. The number of things that have happened during the time are crazy, which went from cutting my English number and having dad go crazy as he tried to find a way to reach me, to almost losing Tatia. It turned out that the baby was born with a weak heart, her mum having fallen from the stairs, she had unintentionally harmed her. Tatia’s heart had stopped twice at the hospital, thankfully they were able to get it beating again, and now she has four nurses who are with her around the clock. Then we have my dad…After finding out that he had bugged my phone to listen in on my conversations or know where I was going, it was no wonder to me that he wasn’t as worried as he was when I was back home. To him, he believed that I never went out, or maybe he knew but he was just glad that he got ears here in the Aslanov house. At first, I didn’t underst
Alessio:I watched as Kiara left the bathroom and walked toward the bed wearing her black shorts and pink loose shirt. Her blonde hair still wet from her taking a shower as she dried it with a towel. I knew that she didn’t like using a blow drier, and I didn’t question her for it.I smiled and waited for her to get in bed and wrapped my arms around her securely. Call me possessive, but it has become a habit that I had my arms wrapped around her, or had my hand holding hers. A claim of possession, she was mine, and I wanted everyone to know that.“So, what did you think of them?” Kiara asked referring to her friends. I had watched her call them, whether it was phone calls or video calls. I knew that both were very close to her, and I appreciated them being around her.“They’re nice, Grace is something alright” I said chuckling. The woman wanted to get a gun of her own which is something that Thomas begged me not to
Kiara:“What is this place?” I asked when we entered what looked like a motel. The motel was at a farm about two hours away from New York. Alessio smiled and brought my hand to his knuckle, softly kissing it.“I heard a small rumor that you were a horse rider, and I thought why not bring you somewhere that you might enjoy” Alessio said softly. My eyes widened and I quickly took off my seatbelt before wrapping my arms around Alessio’s neck, taking him by surprise, as I hugged him tightly. He kissed my jawline before wrapping his own arms around my waist, pulling me on his lap despite us being inside the car, and softly kissed my lips “why didn’t you tell me?”“I didn’t think that you would be interested in finding out about such details” I said shyly. I looked down at my lap avoiding his eyes, but he softly put his finger under my chin and made me look at him. His beautiful silver-blue eyes staring
