Seventy-Three

I sit up and move to the edge of the chair as I say,

"Which brings me to why I wanted to see you..."

"So, Raph was telling the truth. You want to terminate the pregnancy?"

"Yes, I... I... I believe that it would be for the best. If we don't have that problem to worry about we might be able to... Might be able to repair and rebuild some sort of relationship between us, he may even get past what he made me..."

I put my head in my hands and whisper,

"Please, Ava... I know he hates me and I hate him, but I love him too... We just won't get anywhere while he believes that I carry another's pup..."

"Have you thought about discussing it with him??"

I look up at her again with tears slipping from my eyes down my cheeks, as I say,

"Ava, he has been there through everything and yet he still believes that I would allow someone else to touch me... Please, remove it from me..."

"I still don't agree, but I will do as you ask..."

"Thank you, Ava!"

"Come, we will need to go into one of the
