Alicia POV
Two years agoI wept profusely as I got the message of the cancellation of my wedding to Damon. Our wedding was the next day and everybody had already anticipated for this day to come for me, they all knew how much I loved Damon.
Though I had no single clue as to what was the cause of the call off I still had expected Damon to had called rather than sending me a text message. The thought of having to send out a message to my invitees about Damon calling off the wedding had me shed tears even more.
Despite of all that I was feeling inside I can never hate Damon rather my love for him grew. I knew he had his eyes on someone else that he couldn't reach but still that didn't stop me. Priscilla POVSeeing Beatriz leave in that manner had spiked the room for gossip as silent whispers from the workers could be heard. Five years later Though the surgery on Damon was successful, he wasn't responding to treatment. I kept believing that each month my belly grew that he was one step from waking up. Sometimes I would cry on his bed that he does wake up but be honest what has crying ever done, crying didn't bring back my mum and so it was impossible to bring him back.
