Dimitrios
Everything was perfect as my mind jotted down the plan. Christian was killed, Nick had shot himself and I was planning my next move to enforce my stronger grip on the regime. Maybe fate wanted to spare me some moments or a diversion through which I might another signal of how vulnerable the system around me become.
"Congratulations...... Dimitrios........"
I mocked myself when I repeated the same incident in my mind. In my so-called high-security zone, someone climbed up in my car and no one noticed. That someone brought out a knife and placed it inches away from the main artery of my neck. What a lovely scene to rejuvenate again and again. What shocked me more was the age of the attacker and the gender.
Keeping aside feminism and other thoughts, I always found women warming my bed. Rarely some were appointed to lure me by my rivals who eventually died a brutal death after enormous rounds of physical tortures. Now that I am so ruthless to traitors, one can actually understand how I treat males. Again, not being gender-biased, for me, a traitor is a traitor. Age, sex, skin doesn't matter. But what I saw hit me hard. She was barely a school-going girl. To reconfirm again a glanced back at her unconscious body and negatively shook my head.
"F**k." Some curses left my mouth because I was utterly shocked and annoyed. Not to forget she didn't go unconscious after the first hit.
When I first took the sharp u-turn she lost her balance and thus I got rid of the knife. But to stop her from creating further nuisance I pushed her badly towards the window to bang her head a little. Usually, that was enough to keep her calm for a few hours but she showed me something else. The new color of revenge poured out of her, once she was done digesting the first hit. I looked at her figure and saw her movements getting riskier enough to attack me. Without wasting another second I turned a little and banged her head again and this time with a little harshness. Well, the word "Sorry" was not available in the dictionary.
Another painful scream left her lips and the body sagged at the back seat giving me a temporary relaxation. Her head tilted to the right and I realized her thrashing and rash movements died. If she went on like that, there was a high chance we both ended up in an accident.
Turning on the Bluetooth speaker I connected the call with Igor. After all, he must know about our little guest.
"Boss, we are following your car. Anything specific you found?"
I thought to laugh a little. My guards were covering my bulletproof car and imagining that they were providing me the utmost security. What they didn't know was that I got a little danger inside the car only.
"Thanks to the kid," I mumbled but Igor seemed to be lost understanding my next sarcastic comment.
"Yes. I have a guest."
"Guest? Where?" Confusion was present in his voice, and I bet an exclamation mark was painted on all of their faces. Of course, my security team would have to answer after this incident. How the hell could a girl sneak in my car, when we all were aware of the current situation. Either she was utterly well trained, cunning, and specifically told to carry forward the job or everything was just a coincidence. But in both cases, some people were supposed to be answerable.
"Inside my car." I dropped the call immediately after uttering the last sentence.
"B....." I could hear the last trail of words but chose to ignore it. They must keep on thinking about the matter. It is a piece of shameful news that I was attacked by a teenager.
Within the next twenty minutes, my car reached the entrance gate. Security enabled and after opening the gate I swiftly moved towards the porch followed by other cars. I could sense the anxiety and turmoil even after sitting so far in a separate car. The first person who came out of the car next to me was Igor.
Hurriedly he came towards me with Brian. They both were holding their guns and Brian waited for my signal to shoot. I rolled down the glass and poked my head out of it.
"You don't need them. My guest is sleeping now." I pointed at their weapons. A kid doesn't need two hulks to be taken down. She was so fragile that she was still out with one single blow.
"Boss, should we call for backup?" Brian asked looking at the empty passenger seat.
"No. We must call....." I stopped my savage replies thinking seriously about the situation and didn't tell him to bring a nanny.
"Boss, let me check." Igor came towards my car and without wasting a single second he opened the back door of the car.
"Jesus Christ.... what...."
That's a common word that usually comes out of Igor's mouth whenever he sees something unexpected. Even though he was dealing with me since a young age, uttering God's name is quite fancy to him. Nothing surprised us till now until this incident.
His eye took time to adjust to the light and reconfirm the vision he had just seen.
"Boss....." Igor turned his face towards me while I was just tapping my fingers on the steering wheel.
"Get it out," I ordered and took a deep breath before coming out of the car. My valet can park it in the garage but I needed to leave the mess to think rationally about the situation.
"She is .........." Igor stopped in his track when I turned my head towards him.
"Underage." I completed his words and walked away from the situation.
"Brian leave and go check on other things." Igor's words came to my ears but I ignored them as I understood the meaning of this. He wanted alone time to talk to me. This is the only person who has the authority to talk or ask me, else for the rest of the world, I am not answerable to anyone except to my father in some cases.
"Boss....." He came running towards me and blocked my path with a question plastered on his face.
"She is not an adult." He replied looking at my face.
"I know." I reluctantly replied.
Igor looked around to confirm if the other members were left or not. Once he was sure of the privacy he came closer to me.
"Dimi, I didn't expect this....."
My father used to call me before I became an adult and Igor calls me that only in private.
"What?" My nose scrunched, eyes narrowed hearing his words. Of course, I didn't expect too. But what could be done at that moment except handle the mess.
"Did you?" Igor stopped reading my expression whereas I was still not getting a single point of him.
"Yeah of course I did. Otherwise, it was hard to stop her... She was...." I couldn't finish when Igor made a disgusting face and turned away from me but not before uttering something unexpected.
"I didn't expect that you would have an underage girl."
He walked away keeping me in a state of confusion and shock.
"What? What did he just say?" I asked myself. The moment my mind grabbed his words my feet automatically ran towards him.
"Igor..." I shouted back making him stop on the path.
"What?" He gave me a poker face.
"You are getting it wrong," I spoke when he took some steps towards me to close the distance.
"What?"
"You are getting it wrong. She attacked me with a knife. I just hit her head." I explained myself for the first the to someone else and joined him towards my car that was kept open. I was sure the kid was still out.
"Oh... I thought... I thought....." Igor didn't complete being ashamed of thinking me, such a pervert.
"We don't do that with minors," I told him.
"Her school uniform was bloodied." I understand why Igor thought such things.
"No idea. But if she had already got the guts to attack me, I'm sure the blood came out from other murders."
I waved my hand and stood a meter away when Igor grabbed the small unconscious frame to bring out from the car. I finally saw her face. She was surely Russian, I could guarantee that. She is a brunette with long messy hair, a uniform utterly drenched in blood, and a tear-stained face. The only injury I found was on her temple which was definitely caused by me and I wholeheartedly accept that.
"Get her inside the mansion and check thoroughly what is left inside the car."
I was walking along with him whereas he was carrying her like a child.
"How did she sneak in your car? And also found that you are in that car only."
"It could be coincidence or a pre-planned attack. How did she sneak in is better be answered by those who were guarding. How did she find me, well that only she can answer." I pointed my finger at the girl.
"Take her to the basement and keep her tied up. She is a walking danger."
I noticed the flickering warmness in Igor's eyes when he heard my words. But mercy is not something that I disburse without a reason. She attacked me and it was supposed to happen by any means.
"She...".
"I don't care. You can't defy me."
"Yes. Boss." Igor nodded his head and walked with the girl towards the basement. I sent another one to check on the matter.
I entered my study walked towards my desk. Settling myself on the large leather chair I leaned back to take a few seconds rest. The day was hectic with Nick and Christian on one hand and the kid on the other.
"Shit happens." My inner beast mocked and I couldn't help but agree.
Barely ten minutes passed when I heard the knock on my door. It was surely Igor who must have completed all the assigned tasks like an obedient student.
"Igor....." I called out and as usual, he entered with a pile of stuff.
Among them, there was the silver knife that I saw in her hand when she tried to stab me.
He placed the knife on the table and a small backpack. Though mannerisms say not to check a woman's stuff, I give a damn.
"Open them, Igor," I instructed him and he brought out every single thing from the small bag. There were so many small things including her school books and copies, cards, and many more. What got our notice was the photo frame.
My hand reached to flip it and there were no obstacles like a movie before seeing the picture.
"What the f**." My words died in my throat with anger, annoyance, and many more. Igor took a sneak peek of the picture and his jaw dropped on the floor.
"My god. So she is the one? But the picture we have doesn't match with the girl we have seen just now."
I understand the confusion of Igor. Of course, the picture I had was quite old and later she had grown up to be a teenager. But the resembles were there which we both had overlooked.
"We had her old picture."
"So she has just walked......" Igor couldn't finish when I completed his words with my tone.
"Yes......whom once we had searched just walked inside the lion's den by herself." A cruel smile spread on my face when I carefully check the photo. The smiling faces of three people who were making a picture-perfect family.
My eyes caught the attention of the identity card that had her details.
Iris Ivanov.
"Iris...." My tongue rolled out her name.
"Iris Ivanov....." I mumbled her name again with glitter in my eyes. Didn't know why her name felt so unique to me.
"Daughter of Yuri Ivanov, the renowned Assassin." Igor completed her identity and I couldn't stop myself from mumbling the next words.
"Welcome to my hell, my dear Assassin's Daughter."
Dimitrios remained seated on his chair for a certain time. The night was supposed to be long and he made sure of it. Even though Igor suggested Dimitrios let the matter go and settle in the morning, he paid no heed to that."I want to know how did she find me." Dimitrios's cold voice was anything but soothing."We can look into this matter in the morning Boss. She is already unconscious and it is already 1 at night." Igor did his best to suppress the budding anger Dimitrios was having. Even though he was cruel being the right hand of Bratva, he was still not ready to soak his hand in a minor's blood."What are you planning to give her Igor? The benefit of the doubt?"The dilemma was visible in his eyes which didn't take much time for Dimitrios to recognize and point out."Boss, we know nothing about her recent activity. Do we?""Absolutely, Not. That is the reason I am still awake sacrificing my sleep and ignoring a b
"This is insane. She is a minor.""The work she did doesn't look like that.""Boss....." Brian interrupted the ongoing conversation of Dimitrios and Igor. Looking at his Igor understood there happened something which needed to be discussed just then."Yeah..." Igor asked him."She is screaming and shouting to meet Bratva.""What she is actually speaking? Sorry, cursing." Dimitrios's playful smirk didn't go unnoticed by Igor who already tried to dilute the situation but failed twice."Call the f**king Bratva." Brian kept his head done while speaking the curse word. It was a direct disrespect to their boss. The man whom the world fears must not be annotated like trash. If it would have been someone else, his or her body would have been cut into pieces but because of her naivety and young age and Igor's interference, she was surviving.&
Iris Life was always unpredictable. Two days back I was happily roaming around and caressing my mom's pregnant belly. I was fighting with my dad in the garden and again barging in his study to sleep on his lap for some time. I was my father's daughter, and still, I am. Everyone used to say I got my eyes from my father and hair from my mother. My dad always said that he could see the world through me and he would be always there to protect me. But he broke the promise. He left me in this cruel world but I can't blame him. I miss him and my mother. I promised them to bring justice and I didn't I would be in this death trap. "Bratva.....The one you are searching so far......." Those words were still fresh in my mind reminding me of every terror I started feeling seeing his cruelty. I clutched my palm tight with another one to stop the bleeding. "Bratva..." The name came more of a whisper from my mouth that even I found it hard to recognize. T
Dimitrios "Done with your business?" I asked Igor who was standing with his head hung knowing that he committed a mistake or rather a crime. He went beyond me and without my permission, he took a step that couldn't be accepted by me. "Did you lose your tongue?" This time I raised my voice to the most trusted man of my gang. "I am sorry Boss." "Oh..... great....." My mocking tone didn't go unnoticed by him as he kept his eyes fixed on the floor, particularly down to my shoes. "Tell me Igor what would you like to watch? Me skinning her alive? Or...." "Boss..." He didn't let me finish but jumped in between my statement showing a horrified expression on his face. "Or... You want me to sell her alive to any of those group who...." "She is a da
Dimitrios was walking towards the dining table when the sudden entry of Brian annoyed him. Of course, he hadn't slept since yesterday, and later the encounter with Iris went too rough causing him another headache. Instead of having a heavy breakfast, he stood in the middle of the track to listen to the same problem again. "Boss...." Dimitrios's trance got broken when Brian called him again. The first sentence was so unpredictable and unexpected that Dimitrios lost the connection between his present and surroundings. "What!" He almost growled on poor Brian who was simply doing his job by informing his Boss. "She is not responding...." "So?" A heartless reply came out of his mouth as he chose to show his ignorance towards the girl who should be hated for eternity by him. "What to do?" Brian seemed confused watching Dimitrios's sudden change of demeanor. He wasn't expecting such a cold yet confusing expression of him. Th
IrisI didn't know how did the cold surroundings change into a warm ones. I felt my body covered in a fluffy material. The hardness under my body vanished and it got replaced with a soft comfortable surface. The only irritating I felt was the aching in my head. Once I tried to open my eyes, I groaned in pain. The back of my head felt too heavy to be lifted from the soft cushion. Once my vision got cleared I took a good look at the room where I was presently lying. The room was painted blue with some golden borders around it. There was a medium-size placed inside the room and a coffee table in front of it. A large painting of a wolf was hanging just on the wall in front of my face. The dark cellar was longer present rather the lavish room felt more of a dream to me."Maybe it was a nightmare. Maybe my parents brought me to this beautiful place when I was asleep."My mind wanted to portray every possible moment that would bring
Iris was left on the floor sobbing a little. Even her tears started getting dried up after such humiliation and torture. What she still couldn't digest was the man's budding hatred towards her.Dimitrios left her locked inside the room and walked towards his study. Grabbing his suit he made his way out of the room for his office."Boss......" Igor's voice made him stop when he was about to take the car key from his butler."You want to spend your little fairytale time with her?"Hissing through his voice he gritted his teeth to speak something that humiliated Igor enough."Boss... I wanted to say that Eastern Region needs our presence today. I have already kept the file ready. Dan wants some confirmation of the shipment."Looking at Igor's facial expressions Dimitrios understood how badly he mocked his most capable man. Of course, he hated Igor's increasing soft corner towards Iris because she was his to mold or destr
The entire day Iris was kept inside the room locked. The opportunity she got only when the maid came for the last time to give her dinner. Since morning she wasn't fed at all. Grabbing the chance she sneaked out of the room and hid behind a pillar at a distant corner. If she would have known that the monster's room was on the same floor, she would have never tried to run away. Her escape plan failed but her attempt made Dimitrios angry ten times. Someone was creating nuisance below his nose wasn't accepted at all. He was already frustrated and Dan's betrayal made his mood sour. Reaching his mansion when he found that Iris was also going beyond his expected level, he couldn't control himself."Why are you shouting now? Are you scared now?" Dimitrios asked through his gritted teeth dragging her body harshly by her arms. His bruising grip on her wrists turned her pale white skin into red already."Come on... I forgot that you are not afraid
