I knew Beatrice was up to something when she made an excuse about a lipstick she left in my office months ago.
The little snake spent way too much time looking for that thing, even after I assured her countless times that she wouldn't find anything in my office. I have a cleaner who comes twice a week; if there was lipstick, she would tell me.
So when Beatrice hurried off with a note in her hand, I decided to follow her. I felt like a creep as I got in my car to follow her, but my gut feeling knew that something would happen.
Still, I couldn't imagine the surprise that awaited me when Beatrice parked her car in Selena's driveway. I didn't leave my car and sat there waiting.
