Chapter Twenty Eight

Two weeks later

Meira walked around the supermarket with Gabi picking out items when she looked up ahead the isle and froze. She hoped she wasn’t dreaming as she stared at Angela who was checking out a carton of cereal with a frown on her face.

“Mommy, are you okay?”. Gabi asked.

“Yes I’m fine.” Meira said. “Let’s go forward.”

Gabi pushed the cart ahead of her mother and stopped short when she saw Angela. “Mommy, isn’t that aunt Angela?”.

“It’s her.” Meira muttered.

“When did she return?”. Gabi frowned. "That means...that man is here too."
