Ivanna
I take my steps back as his dark eyes linger on me. Today I don't feel like kissing him and calming him down because I don't know if his gesture is fake either. "I want an answer," I groan."And I want the same, Ivanna," he grips my arm tightly and pulls me closer to him, pressing me harder with his body. I twitch by his abrupt harshness. "Didn't I tell you not to go there? You can't obey me once, right?""Yes. I can't," I screech. "And I won't. I won't obey a fake man like you. You tricked me, you betrayed me and my sister. You lied to me"I grabbed his collar and yanked him closer to me, gazing at him with my simmering eyes. "Why did you do this?" My voice breaks. More than anger, I can feel a sharp pain inside me. The pain is consuming me deeply as I peer deep into his dark intoxicating eyes, looking for answers. Tears prick my eyes as I strive to hold them back.Christian I panic, rushing out of the room and calling out all the guards and servants. Chaos occurs all around the villa as they search for her in the entire villa. My head pounds with unfavourable thoughts. She was so furious and hurt. On top of that, I behaved the worst with her today. I wonder where she's at this hour, alone! Is she alright? "Darn it, Iv. Why are you always so impatient and stubborn?" I groan to myself. "She's nowhere," I hear it for the third time from the third person. Every guard has the same to say. But she can't escape so many eyes. She can't leave so easily. I rush back to the room, scanning it carefully. She has a habit of hiding from me even though she knows she can't escape. I slowly inside, not making a noise when I finally hear her sobbing in a low tone. I sigh and reach the closet. The sound is coming from inside and she's here. The fucking thing is she's crying
Ivanna"The truth is I got married to you because I wanted you, Iv. I want you in my life. Forever"His words echo inside my head as I stare at him sleeping soundly over me, his head usually placed on my chest and his hand covering my stomach. The morning sun flickers into the room when I realise it's morning. I couldn't sleep the entire night after his confession. I don't know what he meant to say. We never met before the wedding then how he— Does that mean Irene was right? He literally dumped my sister for me and made her hostage.I feel no less than a culprit and it irks me to know he can do this to a woman he once loved. If he can ditch a girl whom he loved for almost a year, what am I? I'm jus
Christian"You want that one?" I ask Ivanna, looking up at the book she's staring at for a long time. And she can't reach it, of course."I can take it," she shoots me a glare and looks up again.I have brought her to the library again, wishing to lighten up her mood. She hasn't spoken to me the entire way and it sucks. I love her rants, not her silence."You can't reach it, Iv. Let me—""No," she says straight."Okay, fine. You'll take it with your own hands," saying I reach behind her and grab her waist, lifting her in the air so she can reach the upper shelf.
Ivanna"I'm not going back to Dallas," Irene says, taking a sip of her coffee."Why? I mean, you should go back, Irene. Janice and dad must be worried for you," I reply."I talked to them last night. So, there's nothing to worry about. I was eventually gonna move out," she smiles. An awkward silence embraces us. I don't know what I'm gonna tell Christian. He will not like it if he gets to know I met Irene out of the deal. But I couldn't turn her down like that."Where are you staying now?" I ask to break the silence."You know my friend Ana, right? I moved to her place as soon as
ChristianI come back to the room after half an hour and find her in front of the mirror. She surprises me by wearing the same dress I suggested to her before going out of the room. Her eyes drift on me through the mirror, startled as if she was unprepared."Are you done?" I ask."Almost. I was just wondering—" she twists her hair a couple of times, holds them up and scans herself. It seems like she's wondering what hairstyle she should choose."Let them be. Leave them like that," I tell her. "Because—""Don't utter those pick up lines like— you look good with op
IvannaI can still hear my scream echoing around as I gawk at the girl who claims to be his girlfriend. My husband's girlfriend! I don't think I have ever been into a more pathetic situation than this one."You didn't tell her?" She looks at Christian and I also peer at him.He mumbles as if he's nervous or confused— I don't know what he's doing but he should deny it. Why isn't he saying a damn NO?Our eyes meet and I question him through the gaze."Serena— you," he mutters."I— what? I thought you told her," she looks back at me when my chest almost
ChristianColton rushes to me as soon as I reach the party area."Master, Madam has left the venue just now. I tried to stop her but she didn't listen to me," Colton says."Left?"Shocked enough I also rush outside the venue. She is climbing down the stairs, almost running. What happened to her suddenly?"Ivanna!" I call her aloud but she doesn't stop.It forces me to chase her. "Iv, wait"It seems like she's deliberately ignoring me. I hope she's fine."Iv
IvannaI feel the cold breeze touching all over my body and thus I realise I'm only in my lingerie now. I have squeezed my eyes shut when he parts me away, my arms doing their futile job to cover my upper body.He touches my chin and lifts my face as my eyelids automatically part to look into his intoxicating deep eyes. He keeps looking into my eyes without even blinking as if he's trying to look for a bit of resistance. But there's no resistance I can show to him. Right now, I just want him. Only him.I yank his collar and pull him closer to me, breathing heavily."Kiss me", I pant. "Kiss me hard"He slams me against the wall again
