"This watch is beautiful", Emily says, looking at the watch I just picked up. I stare at it, rolling here and there, in every angle and imagining it around Christian's wrist.

"Freak! Five hundred dollars", Emily almost faints, looking at the price tag. "I'm not gonna get any present like this ever"

"You should not if you don't feel like it", I chuckle. "It was just my desire to give him something with my first paycheck. But I don't think I'm taking this"

I put it back.

"Why so?" She exclaims. "Hey, I'm sorry about what I said"
