Chapter 61 : Determination

I didn't wanna do this to her. Making her cry would be the last thing on this earth I can think of. But no matter how much I tried to keep her happy, it wasn't enough. She ended up snatching her own happiness.

I wanted to say that it didn't matter. If she didn't go, that's fine. She doesn't need to do anything she doesn't want to. And I'll never be tired of ranting this same thing again and again. I can spend my entire life telling her how much I love her and how much she matters to me.

I won't stop doing that.

But I held back. I pushed the urge of telling her everything that was going on inside my head because that would give me temporary relief but a permanent scratch to her.

I know she didn't expect me to say those things to her. She might be having questions. Enough questions that she wants to ask me.

She might be thinking I have lied to her all these years. But I didn't. She needs to understand the way I have been doing.
