Chapter 70 : Tamed?

As I turn around, uninterested, I find Mr. Fox and Thea standing in front of me. She's as usual gazing at me with a smirk. They walk toward us and I drive my eyes away from them.

"Good evening, Mr. Fox. What a pleasant surprise!" Dave beams, shaking their hand with him.

"Good evening", Mr. Fox chuckles. "Actually, my wife keenly desired to attend the party. So, here I am"

"Ah! That's great. Good evening, Mrs. Fox", Dave shakes hands with Thea too. "You look beautiful"

"Thanks, Mr. Dave", Thea says and drifts her eyes at me.

I don't know why the fuck she always stares at me for no reason.

"Hello, Mr. Scott", she spreads her hand in front of me and there was no need for that. I clench my jaw and roll my eyes around.

It would not look good if I turn her down in front of them.

"Hello", I accept the handshake anyway.

"Well, there's something called a compliment. You didn't give that to me"

Unfortunately, Dave and Mr. Fox are way too busy to hear us.

"There are enough peopl
