I groan against the pillow with a light headache and roll over. My eyes flutter open with that scenario again hitting my sanity. I look around, discovering myself on my bed.

There's no one in the room. My eyes go in the direction of the clock. It's already nine. Ivanna might have taken Chrissie to school.

I get up and stay in the same position for a while, processing everything that happened last night. Unfortunately, that wasn't a dream.

And to my stupidity, I behaved so badly with Ivanna. I grab my head in frustration, groaning heavily. She must be so hurt. She wasn't at any fault but I ended up being so rude to her.
