Alpha Damien’s POV:
It’s dark.
Quiet.
Too quiet.
There weren’t any cars passing us by on the road which was convenient enough with this kind of situation. Drake lit a cigarette standing here with me along the road while Demiana stayed at the back of the car, waiting for Catherine to show up any minute now.
I kept pacing back and forth along the side of the road. My wolf Hercules was feeling a bit worried on his side too. Is she alright? Did something happen to her? It's been about forty-five full minutes since she went in there. She still hasn’t come back. I couldn't even link with her.
Something is definitely wrong. I can feel it in my bones.
