"Iris, what will you wear for the party tonight?"
I was stunned by Grandma Belle's question. I looked at Zach who also had no idea what she was saying.
Ashley walked in, holding dresses and shoes. "I'm sorry, granny! I forgot to tell them. So Mr. and Mrs. Zach Esqueza, we have a party tonight. Make sure you get home just in time."
"Party?" Zach asked confusingly. "You didn't tell us last night."
"Because I forgot about it, Zach," she explained when Zach face hardenes. "I need to collect some funds for my outreach program. We will give it to my selective foundation since many areas have been destroyed from typhoon," Ashley said. "This will be fun! I swear!"
I just smiled. This was the party she was telling me about. I have no idea what to wear later. Maybe I could choose from what Ashley gave me.
