ELEVEN

How long have I been sleeping? Seems like a very long time. The room is getting very dark now and very cold because I haven't closed the curtains. The winter wind was blowing hard which made me wake up from the cold. I've been sleeping since six o'clock in the evening from exhaustion and boredom. There was nothing I could do after I finished dinner with my mother-in-law at five o'clock. He just got home around one o'clock in the afternoon. When I heard the sound of the car engine roaring in the front yard, I couldn't stop praying because I was too afraid of my mother-in-law's reaction when she saw me.

I thought my mother-in-law must be very ashamed and angry about what I had done at church.
