Chapter 36

Snow

Damn dream.

If it actually happened, then I’d be a cruel and heartless person.

Realizing that I’ve arrived at Lee’s apartment building, I rush out of the car. I want to meet with him and talk to him before I leave for France tomorrow. I can’t just leave without patching things up with him first. That would very wrong.

I ride the elevator to his floor. Panting because I ran to catch the elevator before the doors closed, I lean against the elevator wall behind me. My heart beating very fast, almost making its way out of my chest. I’m so nervous, wondering how this is gonna go. Is he going to take it well? I won’t blame him if he doesn’t.

I ring Lee’s doorbell so many times, but he isn’t coming out. Just when I’m about to dial his number and call him, he opens his front door.

He’s shirtless with ruffled hair, and toned abs that I can’t stop looking at, but I’m gonna have to. I slowly move my head, averting my gaze to meet his green eyes that are dark, but mesmerizing.

“Snow?”
