Chapter 45

Snow

"Are you okay?" Sam asks, rubbing my back while I throw up. I shake my head and keep vomiting. After I feel like my gut is completely empty, I rinse my mouth with cold water, go back into the living room, and switch off the TV.

"Is this what you wanted to tell me?" I ask after a brief silence.

"Yes." Lee answers, glaring at Sam this time. "We wanted to let you know."

"We're sorry about this Snow." Sam apologised. "That's one of the reasons why Cody left early today. He really wanted to stay and take care of you but when he found out, he left you in our care so that he could take care of everything. But we're guessing things got out of control."

"That's the main reason why we're here with you." Lee adds. I sigh, passing my hands in my hair in frustration.

"It doesn't really bother me, even though that's defamation. People out there will think I'm some cheap slut going for you and your brother. I care less about that. But, seeing myself on the news, it actually triggered a mem
