Chapter 51

Snow

"Snow!" I shoot up from the bed. "Snow, where are you?" Sam calls.

"I'm coming." I yell back. Why is there so much noise downstairs? I hurriedly throw on a nice dress, just in case there's a visitor, then I rush downstairs to see what's going on. Biscuit meets me on the staircase barking happily, I follow her into the living room.

"I'm here." I say, panting.

"Why are you breathing heavily?" Sam asks.

"I was asleep when I heard you yelling my name so I thought there was something going on, then I ran down." I frown when Sam blinks at me and doesn't say anything. "Is something not going on?" I question her.

"It's just me, that's all." Andre says from behind me. My eyes widen, then I slowly turn to face him.

"Sam!" I whine. "I was having a good sleep and you screamed my name because Andre is back? I thought something was happening. I even got out of my comfy clothes and wore something nice in case there was a visitor or something."

"But I'm a visitor." I glare at him. "What?
