Snow

"Thank you for agreeing to babysit me. I don't like it when I go to granny's place." Miranda says.

"Don't mention it. I want to spend the day with you because I miss you very much. And if you don't like going to your granny's place, we can always hang out." I smile at Miranda and she giggles in response. "What do you want to do today?"

"I want to bake cookies." She replies.

"You can bake cookies?" Miranda nods in response. "Wow. Maybe you can teach me."

"Don't worry, I'll be a good teacher to you." She says and I smile.

"Let me go to the kitchen and check if we have what we need, I'm not really good at cooking or baking, and I don't know what ingredients you'll use, so you'll have to help me here." Miranda nods and follows me into the kitchen.

I open up every cabinet and help her check it. Then I also open the fridge for her to check what she'll need for her cookies.

"We'll need more flour and sugar. And milk. Everything else will be enough." She says politely.
