Snow A year ago, we went on a vacation in London where we met with one of Cody’s old friends and his wife and children. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson are really nice people that welcomed us warmly. It was a very nice experience, spending a week with them. Not to mention that Miranda had a great time with their son Carlos who’s three years older than her. Though she hates to admit it, she did have a lot of fun in London and I’m certain Carlos and Miranda contact each other. Mrs. Daya Robinson, a renowned baker in London and one of the owners of Lena’s Bakery all around the country. She manages the bakeries with her brother, Marco Sanchez. Daya was very friendly and we got along so well. Especially after I found out that her mother was someone I’ve been trying to track for a long time and almost got killed by her but she let me go for unknown reasons. Ruby Crest, the black tigress, a very fierce woman. A mafia empressMr. Dave Robinson, the CEO of Robinson Industries. He’s such a handsome man
Snow "We're here Daya." I say happily settling down on my bed in our hotel suite. "That's great. You're at the hotel right? "Yeah." "I'm sure you'll find Carlos wondering around with his grandmother. If you do, let him drive you to Marco's Pastry Place. But if not, let me know. I'm kind of busy here at the bakery so I'll see you when you get here." "You're busy this evening?" "Yeah. Dave's father is hosting a small party for his friends and I'm in charge of the food. I need to get everything done on time. Then we can hang out afterwards." "Sure, but which of his grandmothers is he here with?" I try to hide the panic in my voice. Daya laughs. "That'll be a surprise for you." "A cruel one if it's Ruby." She bursts into laughter again. "Alright. I'll see you and Miranda when you get here. Have fun." Then she hangs up. "Andy." I call out. "Yes Mom?" " I just called Daya. She said Carlos is around. You can call him if you want." "I've already done that, he'll be here any seco
Cody “Serena, have you made reservations for lunch?” “I have, Mr. Wells. I wasn’t sure of what to do since Mrs. Wells isn’t here so I just made reservations for two.” “Can you cancel? And did you just call my fiancé Mrs. Wells?” I look up at her, a smile creeping on my lips. Serena smiles and nods. “Mr. Wells asked me to call her that since you’ll be married in the next two months. In his words, ‘It wouldn’t hurt to start calling her Mrs. Wells. Those two were practically married before Cody decided to make it official.’” I chuckle. “Lee said that?” “He did, Sir.” She answers. “Alright. Just cancel my plans for lunch. I’ll be spending my lunch break talking to Snow.” “Or instead of cancelling, Lee and I can go and have lunch together. Just the two of us. That isn’t a bad idea, right?” “Of course not. Not at all.” I wink at her, making her blush. She excuses herself and exits my office. Before I hired Serena as my assistant, she was a waiter at Duquette’s café. My secretary wh
Snow The days went by quickly as we prepared towards the wedding. Everyone was present a week before the day of the wedding. My aunt and uncle, Andre, Cody and Lee, Serena and some other friends of Cody and I. Daya and the planner triple checked everything to make sure that the decorations, food, my wedding dress, Cody’s wedding tuxedo, invitations and everything else was on point. The guests had already started arriving. Cody and I were grateful to see those who could make it and we kept expecting more of our guests to arrive. Inwardly, I was very happy that Ruby was being helpful. Lee planned pre-wedding celebrations for Cody and I to have fun before the day of our wedding ceremony. Dave, Daya’s husband joined in on the fun. I had my bridal shower three days ago and it was lovely. I had lots of fun with my family and friends. Knowing Lee, it was wild as it was expected, but we didn’t mind. On the next day, there was rehearsal dinner. It also went on smoothly until Lee started firew
Snow “So as I was saying,” I continue after, putting the phone on charge. “Carlos loves you and I’m pretty sure he’ll do anything to be with you.” Miranda gasps. “You really think so.” “I know so. Teenage love is easier to identify. So beautiful and tenderly, so kind.” I sigh dramatically and we both burst into laughter. “Ok. Now I’m starving. Let’s go and find the girls and then later, we have breakfast. If my stomach rumbles again, don’t let it surprise you when I head in the direction of the breakfast lounge.” Miranda giggles and we both head out. I ask her to try calling Daya before we went to her room in the hotel. Then we bump into Cody. Miranda gasps dramatically. We gaze at each other for a while before she walks away, still giggling. Then I turn to Cody and raise a brow at him. He smiles at me and pulls me back into a my room. “What are you doi-“ He covers my mouth before I’m able to finish my sentence. Then he smashes his lips on mine, kissing me with need. He swallows my
Lily I crawl out of the air vent, pull out my phone and start video recording as I enter the dimly lit warehouse. It is so creepy in here. I'm slowly getting scared as I walk further into the building but I strengthen my resolve. This case is very important and once I succeed, I'll get a real job and maybe I'll even start my own official news blog. I smile to myself as I think. I spot security men walking around the building. A few of them upstairs, a few of them downstairs and others walking around. I scan the building for security cameras and find a lot of them in almost every corner of the building. The security here sure is tight. Luckily, I dodge the security men and make sure I'm not seen by the cameras. I hold my phone tight in my hand and tiptoe stealthily. I spot a slightly opened door and walk towards it. A gasp escapes my mouth when I find the kidnapped women and children in the room. I was able to recognise one child. His photo was everywhere saying that he was missing.
Cody "Jane, come over here quick. I can't find the woman we brought to my house anywhere." "My name is Sam." She groans before continuing. "Are you sure she's gone? Have you looked everywhere?" "Of course I have." I yell into the phone and exhale deeply. I change my tone to a more calm one. "I have looked everywhere Miranda. I can't find her. What if she's just hiding somewhere stealing my stuff and I can't find her because she's a thief who's good at her job?" "Miranda is my daughter's name." She groans again. I really love to annoy Sam by calling her different names and pretending to forget her name everytime. "How is she a thief if we found her lying in a dumpster naked and vulnerable? What exactly is wrong with you thinking like that?" I open move my lips to answer but Sam interrupts me, making me frown. "Look. I'm coming. I'll ask Miss Anderson to take care of everything. It looks like we won't be spending our entire day in the office today." She grumbles the last part and en
Cody As I walk into the living room, I notice Sam walking after me. "Cody." She calls but I don't respond. "Cody!" "What?" I snap. "Why did you promise to her that we're going to help her? I don't want any part of this." Sam stares at me pointedly. "We brought her here to your house and therefore we must help her. She needs help." "Can't we just hand her over to the police and make her not our problem anymore?" I argue and Sam's eyes widen. "Cody! We are going to help her whether you like it or not. And that's final." She then grabs my shoulders. "Promise me you're going to help her." I look away and she shakes me lightly. I direct my gaze back to her. "Cody, I want you to promise me that you're going to help Snow." I sigh, not liking the idea. "I promise." Sam smiles. "What you said earlier was a very good idea though." She says. "You mean handing her over to the police? I thought you weren't happy with that idea." I frown at her. "Of course we're not going to just hand Sno
