“Serena, have you made reservations for lunch?”

“I have, Mr. Wells. I wasn’t sure of what to do since Mrs. Wells isn’t here so I just made reservations for two.”

“Can you cancel? And did you just call my fiancé Mrs. Wells?” I look up at her, a smile creeping on my lips. Serena smiles and nods.

“Mr. Wells asked me to call her that since you’ll be married in the next two months. In his words, ‘It wouldn’t hurt to start calling her Mrs. Wells. Those two were practically married before Cody decided to make it official.’” I chuckle.

“Lee said that?”

“He did, Sir.” She answers.

“Alright. Just cancel my plans for lunch. I’ll be spending my lunch break talking to Snow.”

“Or instead of cancelling, Lee and I can go and have lunch together. Just the two of us. That isn’t a bad idea, right?”

“Of course not. Not at all.” I wink at her, making her blush. She excuses herself and exits my office.
