Chapter 44 Different From Before

It was quiet in the room. The maid looked at her and cautiously said, "Miss Everly, would you like to go to see Sir?"

Everly had not answered. She just sat there unmoving, like a sculpture.

"Miss Everly?"

The maid's voice came again.

"You go out first." Everly finally said in a hoarse voice.
