Chapter 189 Appearing Ordinary

Everly was boiling the pasta.

She had not had her dinner, and her stomach began to rumble after playing around with Oliver. Oliver heard her, and after a brief moment of awkwardness, Oliver told her that he had not had his dinner as well and would like to try her cooking, which led to the current situation.

Carson had been assigned to handle the ingredients. Everly cast him aside on purpose while she remained on the other side with Oliver.

'If he insists on staying here, then he's just going to have to work!' she thought.

"Oliver, who cooks at your house?" she asked.

"Aunt Emma. She cooks well!"

As the two chatted to one another, Carson looked at the potato in his hand. His brows relaxed as he held the peeler tightly and began peeling the skin of the potato.

The feeling that they were a family of three cooking together in the kitchen felt great. Though he had not been inside a kitchen before, he was willing to change for her sake.
