Oliver drew a label on the front of the box and wrote two names on it messily before looking up at her. "I found out that Mom is dead, and Dad is only staying behind because he needs to take care of me, but he misses her and has never forgotten about her."

He handed the drawing to her and continued, "Aunt Violet, this is the box that had my parents' figurines in it."

Everly was overwhelmed by her emotions and could not react immediately. Oliver might only know that she was 'dead', but she knew more about what happened.
