Scarlett slept until after 10:00 the next morning. There was no alarm and she slept soundly.

She drank a lot last night. She felt shit this morning. She was in an awful mood when she woke up.

No wonder Katherine was Scarlett's most effective secretary. Somehow she figured out that Scarlett was awake at this hour, and just as Scarlett finished washing up, the secretary called her.

"What's up?"

Scarlett was not in a good mood, but she never lashed out with her staff. Her tone was mild.

Nevertheless, Katherine said carefully, "Ms. Reed, the people from Sunrigal Corporation would like to meet you."

"They wish."

Immediately, Katherine sensed that Scarlett was not in a good mood.

She was very sensible. "Okay, then I won't bother you."

"Hmm."

Then Scarlett hung up the phone and went downstairs for breakfast.
