“ Don’t worry , I’ll take them both home. I just had a call that our house and that of Padma’s have been renovated,” Kendrick said to his mom and Syd, but Syd still insisted she was going with Brie home.

“ Fine, if you insist” Kendrick gave up. Aaron had already left for Los Angeles a couple of days back. Brie had received phone calls from her dad asking how she was doing as well as some of her workers.

“ Did you have to be so pushy Syd?” Brie asked as soon as Kendrick stepped out of the ward to settle her bills.

“ Brie, I know you’ve lost a chunk of memories about him, but he’s my brother and he’s done a couple of things in the past that’s made me loose trust in him,” she said.

“ I just want to come stay with you for a while before going back, if that’s okay with you..” she asked.

The doctors had discharged Brie from the hospital and said it was okay for her to be on a flight. Their mom was going to take a transit flight back to San D
