CONTINUATION……
Sakshi ran out of the hospital premises, finding it hard for herself to talk further about the topic related to her family and background. The constant question ringing in her mind was just that why couldn’t she bear when Rudra said so much concerning her family?? Why couldn’t she cope up with just some words concerning her family???? She was constantly pinching her own hand when Preethi reached her and held her hand to prevent further pinching her hand.
She took a seat beside her and said, “When I confronted u for going to your family back… reaching them out you said you are not ready which can only happen when you have not forgiven them… but then why just now you defended them when Rudra tried to say something about them??? Just accept that they affect you…”. Sakshi looked away and said, “Why would you think like that?? I am surely not affected by them.”. Preethi cupped her face and said, “Then why were you pinching your hands??? You know this weird habit of yours is only seen when you are deeply affected or are hurt… so drop the act and let it out…”. And hugged Sakshi. Sakshi cried her heart out.
They both after 15 mins. Entered the hospital only to find Mr. Sandeep Malhotra sitting in the cabin and waiting for them, precisely Sakshi. They both greeted him and Sakshi enquired about his visit. “Sir if you don’t mind, may I know the reason of your visit??” and came a reply from him, “miss Sakshi, I know very well you totally oppose this idea of VIP rooms and lessening the budget of free treatments. And I am with u in this. But we need to have a proper report to oppose this idea of Rudra and in this whole of hospital only you opposed the idea of Rudra, so I think you are the best one to prepare the report.” Sakshi looked at him with a surprised look and said, “but sir, I am no one to prepare the report, plus miss Kiara wont ever let me go against the orders of your o so intelligent son. (Looked at him biting her tongue) sorry for my words sir, but your son is able to bring the sourest and most bitter words on my tongue.”
He laughed it off and said, “nothing new. Same are the words narrated by his mother to me before we got married.” And laughed. Listening to this, smile from Sakshi’s face vanished. She was now awkward…and looked at Preethi and she being her best friend easily deciphered and quickly changed the topic.
“Ahh… but sir why do you want Sakshi to prepare the report??? You can easily oppose the decision...”
“Because that son of mine is really is business minded, who knows nothing then to make deals and win contracts and tenders… and somewhere I accept it is my fault… but coming to the point, I know only Sakshi can tame him down and moreover as much as I know him, he has this soft spot for u..” came a reply.
“Sir I think u are highly mistaken... that man can never have a soft spot for me especially... since the day he entered my life all he does is being rude and trying to insult and defame me... and apart from that why do you think, I, from all the people out there would do something like this???would stand in front of an angry lion to be eaten up????” she enquired.
“Because, as you see Ms. Sakshi, I very well know who you are and from whom you are hiding and running…” he said with a knowing smile gracing his lips.
Sakshi’s eyes widened and she looked at Preethi and held her hand. now she was definitely not feeling ok. But the next words relieved her a little.
“But if you are ready to take up this next to impossible task then I would promise you to never reveal this truth to anyone until you ask me to or yourself do this task. and you being their blood is one of the reasons I trust you to make up this report and stand upright opposing this business minded decision of my son Rudra...”
Sakshi looked at him and then at Preethi who was saying her to say no through her eyes because she knew that standing against Rudra is not something she should do when he already can’t stand without fighting her or insulting her for the very opportunity, he could see... but she can’t let her this secret be revealed…
So, she replied,
“Yes… I will do it….”

Author's POV:- Sakshi was pacing in the cabin and was continuosly playing with the pen in her hand... It would not be difficult for one to guess that she was tensed... Since the time Mr. Malhotra came to talk with her she has been this tense and was continuously pacing... She was alone in her cabin... Preethi so wanted to accompany her through this tense period but couldn't just do it as she was needed for an important surgery... Preethi was also one of the most renowned surgeon specialised in neurology... Preethi was bound to leave her alone for the moment but not before she warned her best friend to not to do anything stupid and not worry too much about it... Continuation.... Sakshi was stunned looking at him and her face did nothing to hide her surprised look and clearly said she wasn't at all expecting to see him there at any circumstances. Author's POV:- Next morning came sooner than expected for Sakshi... Sleeping peacefully in her bed, Sakshi was cradling her Big Blue teddy to her chest, as her habit of sleeping while hugging. The sun was beaming through her blinds causing the woman, who still wanted and prayed to God Sun to go back to his abode and let the night extend for her to sleep more, to stir. Usually, waking up was Never a simple task for Sakshi; afterall she was never a morning person after all. She groaned when the first beam of sunlight hit her face. Her only need and want right now was to float in the ocean of dreams filled with just one person, and it wouldn't even cost a nerve cell to guess that the person was none other than Rudra, but seems like the time never goes according to her wish and God hates her sleep a lot, only for her sleep to be disturbed by her annoying alarm clock, gifted by her best friend.

Sakshi's POV:- Bidding a bye to my first love, my comfy bed, who was still calling me and inviting me to the whole another level of comfort and escape from this cruel and selfish world to the world of sleep, where I could dive in the ocean of dreams in which I could do whatever I wished, worry about someone being hurt or finding out my identity never crossed my mind for even once.... This is what I wanted and still want...
