Chapter 9
Lily’s pov
The next morning after Noah's and my weird evening I started painting in my room. I hadn’t really done any painting the last few weeks, I’ve been too busy. But it cleared my mind and my worries for a while. My painting was interrupted by my phone ringing, Noah was calling me.
“I think we should stop seeing each other. I am almost turning 18 and I think we both know we’re not each other’s mates” Noah said.
I swallowed, trying not to cry “where is this coming from, yesterday you were happy to wait?” I asked.
Noah replied “I talked with my friends and Alpha Osiris about it. We all agreed it would be better to just end things now.”

Lily’s pov I have been avoiding Noah like the plague at school. I was never popular, but people knew me as one of the Burton sisters. They knew not to bully me since my dad was the Alpha. Lily’s pov It felt great getting pampered and it was a nice distraction for Sasha. We got manicures and pedicures, facemasks and massages. At the end we got our hair done and our make-up. Lily’s pov It was finally Summer break. I just graduated, I was no valedictorian like my sisters, but I had done well and my parents told me they were proud of me. Lily’s pov I saw Alpha Osiris and a woman talking in the waiting room. The woman was really cool, she had short hair and a bunch of tattoo’s. Emma stayed with me while the doctor explained how I should take care of the cast. It shouldn't get dirty or wet. I just had to wait for my paperwork as Emma stepped out to talk with Alpha Osiris. Osiris’ pov After Lily and Emma agreed to stay at my packhouse I immediately went shopping. I asked Jara to join me so we could talk about Emma. I wanted to buy some things for Lily to make her more comfortable this week. Lily’s pov For some reason I don’t understand, Alpha Osiris wants to show me around town tomorrow. I had spend yesterday in bed most of the day, but today Emma has promised to do something fun with me. I woke up, still a bit sore and took a shower. I hadn’t dared to take another bath after last time, but a shower was safe especially with that stool. I just sat there for a while, letting the hot water run over me. I hated this, having a cast and feeling so useless and vulnerable. I let my hair air dry, not wanting to waste time with anything today.
