Lily’s pov
What did I just do?! Osiris said those wonderful things and I just had to see him. But then I felt he was my mate and everything changed. I wanted Osiris in every way. I was so scared about having sex with Noah, but with Osiris it felt so natural. I didn’t think, I only felt. And what I felt was love, lust and pleasure. But when Osiris carried me to the shower my mind started to work again and I needed time. So I asked if our wolves could spend some time together instead. I really wish finding my mate would squash every worry I had, but it made me worry even more. Did this mean I was going to be Luna?

Lily’s pov The last two days have been like a dream, but sometimes I feel my thoughts about the future sneaking back up on me. Especially today, my parents will come home and I will tell them about Osiris. And me. Being the Luna. The Luna! Am I really ready to be someone’s Luna? Osiris’ pov Finally we would be heading back. I have loved this little vacation with Lily, but I needed to be there for my pack. And I wanted to introduce everyone to their new Luna. I had always been to stubborn to admit I needed a Luna, but going to Lily with me was already proving to be the best thing I had ever done. I felt happier than I had ever felt and knew my pack could only improve by having Lily as their Luna. She was smart, kind and she had watched her family run a pack for years. Lily’s pov I woke up and checked the time, I had only slept a short while. I got dressed and walked around the packhouse in search for Osiris. Ever since I had woken up I had felt strong feelings through our mate bond. Osiris might not be able to feel me yet, but I felt anger and fear very strongly. I needed to see if he was okay. Osiris’ pov Lily came to dinner surrounded by the rogue’s smell. I had to show her I trusted her, that I would give her these three days. I knew it would lead to another fight or worse. I had said she had a voice in this pack and if I stopped her now, it would look like I don’t value her input. But why did she have to involve herself in how I question the prisoners? It’s not like I am beating them up for fun, I am trying to make my pack save. Trying to keep her safe. I can’t imagine what I would feel if Lily was badly hurt by those rogues. I just got so angry when he wouldn’t say anything. Not even a word during his beatings. Lily’s pov After breakfast I took some food with me down to the dungeon. I was grateful that the guard and Osiris had decided to tie up the rogue differently. He sat down on a small bench, his feet locked together by some chain and his hands in front of him tied together by another set of chains. He could move around his cell and bit now, walking like a penguin almost. I stepped in front of his cell and showed the man the food I had brought. “Hi, I don’t know if you remember my name. It’s Lily. I wanted to bring you some food. Do you mind if I come in the cell?” The man looked at me surprised and nodded. I opened the cell door and handed him a piece of bread. He shoved it down his throat as if he hadn’t eaten in days, weeks even. I handed the man a piece of apple cake and I think he even moaned. “That good huh?” I laughed. After showing Osiris just how thankful I was we went to buy some art supplies for me. I felt so inspired by my new gallery that I wanted to start painting right away. The Gallery wasn’t that far away from the packhouse, so I could either walk or drive there easily. Osiris had some work to do still, so after we bought the supplies he left for the packhouse while I stayed behind. I didn’t realize the time, until Osiris came inside the gallery. “I am here to take you back to the packhouse for dinner” he said and I jumped into his arms. I had painted three new paintings and I had ideas for more. Osiris looked at them all and complimented my work. It felt really nice to be appreciated, painting was always something I did in my room and not a lot of people got to see it. We drove back to packhouse, there was no time to change so I sat at the table in my dirty shirt and jeans covered with paint splatter. Osiris' pov I hated how much time Lily was spending with Arden. She was too kind for the world. I didn’t know why Arden was talking to her, was her strategy actually working? I knew people would do anything to make pain stop and that would mean talking. But sometimes people would just make stuff up when they didn’t have any more secrets to spill. Using violence wasn’t a sure thing and I would rather spend my time doing something else. Although Santos did like the idea that we beat the guy who was spending so much time with our mate. Having Lily with me at my pack has been wonderful and once she would officially join our pack things would even get better.
