Osiris' pov I hated how much time Lily was spending with Arden. She was too kind for the world. I didn’t know why Arden was talking to her, was her strategy actually working? I knew people would do anything to make pain stop and that would mean talking. But sometimes people would just make stuff up when they didn’t have any more secrets to spill. Lily’s pov Osiris kept his word, he had not hurt Arden. But he did mention at the end of the week that Riker had tried to get more information out of Arden, but it proved to be useless. Lily’s pov When the meeting was finished we all went to the dining hall to get something to eat. Emma joined us as well and Mia was already sitting there looking really happy to see Riker. Mia had a small boutique in the city where she sold jewelry and clothing. They had already heard a bit about Lily from her sister Emma. “We are so happy to have another Burton sister join our pack” Alysia said while giving Lily a hug “you look very different than your big sister, but you are equally stunning.” Lily blushed and thanked Alysia for her kind words. Before we left for Alysia and Gerard’s house we went by the gallery and I picked out one of Lily’s paintings as a gift for Alysia. Lily felt a bit shy about coming over with her art, but I knew Alysia would love it. I gave her the gift and her whole face changed “Alpha Osiris you remembered!” It was a painting of gerbera daisies, the flowers Gerard used to buy for Alysia when they were just mated.
