Lily’s pov When the meeting was finished we all went to the dining hall to get something to eat. Emma joined us as well and Mia was already sitting there looking really happy to see Riker. Mia had a small boutique in the city where she sold jewelry and clothing. I had planned to visit her store soon, she always wore beautiful jewelry herself and I couldn’t wait to see what else she had. “I am so happy you are all okay” Mia said as she stood up and hugged Riker. Osiris’ pov Lily suggested we go to Mia’s store together, she had been wanting to go there all week. I actually had asked Mia to make something for me, so it would be perfect. We decided to walk there, it wasn’t far and I liked showing Lily off to my pack. We walked hand in hand, our fingers interlaced and talked about small things. Lily’s pov I woke up with Osiris’ arms around me. Damn it, I must have fallen asleep when he started touching me. It felt so relaxing. I had actually planned to have sex with him, but I guess he was right. I was really tired after spending the afternoon talking to everyone and selling my paintings. Osiris’ pov The next week went by fast. After I asked Lily to marry me we went to Riker and Jara’s parent. Alysia and Gerard Maudeux had always been there for me and it meant a lot they wanted to meet Lily. They had already heard a bit about Lily from her sister Emma. “We are so happy to have another Burton sister join our pack” Alysia said while giving Lily a hug “you look very different than your big sister, but you are equally stunning.” Lily blushed and thanked Alysia for her kind words. Before we left for Alysia and Gerard’s house we went by the gallery and I picked out one of Lily’s paintings as a gift for Alysia. Lily felt a bit shy about coming over with her art, but I knew Alysia would love it. I gave her the gift and her whole face changed “Alpha Osiris you remembered!” It was a painting of gerbera daisies, the flowers Gerard used to buy for Alysia when they were just mated. Osiris’ pov Crap, I really screwed that up. I should have just come clean immediately after. She would still be pissed, but lying about it had made everything worse. “I am sorry Osiris. Lily’s pov I couldn’t sleep, I was so used to having Osiris close to me and I was too worked up about our fight. So I decided to go out for a run, I left Osiris a note in case he would wake up when I was still gone. didn’t plan to run long, I just needed to blow off some steam.
