Chapter 148
Lily’s pov
Angelina agreed to meet me back at dad’s pack. I wanted to see Charlotte and Amelia anyway and I had really missed Eddie. I really wondered what she wanted to talk to me about, she was very cryptic on the phone.
I was going to bring Emma along and Asher. I also asked Meadow if she wanted to join, she hadn’t stepped foot outside our pack and she could really use a break.
I told April I would bring back my mom’s party binder, it might help her make decisions. April was so excited to be married to Cyrus and I loved seeing them together. Cyrus had brought out another side to April, she was more relaxed and happier. Oliver seemed a lot happier too.
I packed some bags. Bringing Asher with me meant I had to bring a lot more bags than I was used to. I had to bring diapers, extra clothing, his other stuff and toys.

Lily’s pov After talking to Damian he went back home, not wanting to stay too long. I went to see Asher, who was playing with Emma and Meadow in the living room. After a while Charlotte came and went to pick up Amelia. They’re both around one years old, but kids this age don’t really play together. Mostly next to each other or they steal each other’s toys. Osiris’ pov I really hadn’t planned on doing things tonight, but Cyrus came over to my office today to discuss some of the building plans for the shelter and farm. Chris’ pov My first week at the Iron River pack went different than I thought. Although most packmembers were nice and welcoming, I miss my old friends and home. I feel like an outsider here and I hoped that starting at school would help. It didn’t though. There is a lot going on at that school, new students and teachers that aren’t sure they want to be around half-bloods and humans. I’ve been having a lot of students in my office, that I have to reprimand for mistreating their half blood students. It's not easy though. Lily’s pov April’s wedding was so special, I could feel the love in the whole packhouse. Everyone was so happy for them. They didn’t want a big party and I could understand why. This was perfect, just the people that were special to them. The only thing that went wrong was when Chris and Meadow started to dance. I looked over at them and they seemed to be getting close. Meadow even placed her head on Chris’ shoulder. But something happened and she ran away. I watched them together and I knew it wasn’t something Chris did on purpose. Although I was still not happy he left Charlotte by herself, I was less angry than Emma was. Emma really hated Chris from that point on. I wanted Meadow to have a chance at happiness. I trusted the Moon Goddess, especially after seeing Eros and Charlotte, and Cyrus and April. They both got a second chance and Chris wouldn’t go to another pack for nothing. He must have felt something. I just hope Meadow can move past her trauma.
