CHAPTER 32

Tyr didn’t notice he fell asleep right next to Zane. His body felt so heavy, and the soreness of his lower back because of what happened earlier stung him a bit.

He gently turned to the opposite side, careful not to wake up Zane, and reached for his phone to check the time. They reached home around dinner time and now it’s already past midnight. Tyr laid on his back for a second before quietly getting out of bed. For a good minute, he watched Zane soundly sleeping while his chest slowly moved up and down. The corner of his lips subtly curled up before he silently went out his room and closed the door.

He could feel his stomach rumbling. They haven’t eaten anything since after lunch and he could already feel his depleted energy from what had happened the entire day. Even his healing gift needed for his energy to do its job. So, Tyr rummaged his kitchen and checked his fridge for anything he could prepare.
